Sandland Ware “Oranges” Vintage Marmalade Pot without lid Both sides of this pot carry an image of a Nell Gwynne figure selling oranges with the inscription Cries of London “Sweet Oranges”. The pot is in good condition and from the image must have been made for a marmalade manufacturer (almost certainly Frank Cooper for whom so many pots were made by Lancaster & Sandland of Hanley, Staffs). It carries number 511. This dates from before the 1960s
