'Sovereign' Medieval Archer Lead Soldier 90 mm 1970s Whilst this is not branded, the style, quality and detail show that it is a “Sovereign” hand painted soldier from around 1978. The 90mm archer wears full chain-mail, surrounded by his arrows ready for action by a cavalry stake. It is beautifully made with exquisite detail and the base has real earth. The wooden stake is solid wood and sharp. The bowstring is thread. The price reflects the stunning quality and workmanship.
